JEAN-SIMON BÉGIN
The lynx is a symbol to me. It is the being that lives in parallel to our world. The hidden face of our nature, the one who sees us and moves away. In brief contact with him, mostly reading the novels of his passage in fresh snow, I learned his language. If we make the effort to leave our comfort zone and experience the wilderness, we can learn a lot about ourselves. Many times, in the past, the silence, the immobility and the weariness forced me to ask myself: am I wasting my time? I have asked myself this question as many times as I have found various answers. There is, in this quest and weariness, a great truth.
