JEAN-SIMON BÉGIN
Jean-Simon's journey in painting began around the age of 17. Immersed in the arts since childhood under the tutelage of a mother who was a visual arts teacher and ceramic artist, he made his debut with the spatula and oil paint during his studies at CEGEP.
Inspired by the great painter Jean-Paul Riopelle, his first subjects evoke nature and the animals he comes across in the forests on the outskirts of Quebec City. After a first "sold out" exhibition, he is quickly noticed by collectors and the art world. He began a career as a professional painter a few years later.
To date, more than 550 paintings by Jean-Simon Bégin have been acquired. On this page, you will be able to see some of his works, grouped in the different themes he has tackled over the past 15 years. It is therefore through this online catalog that you can view the artist's available works.
If you are interested in purchasing a work, you can contact us through the form available under each work and we will arrange a private meeting with the artist at his studio.
